Where an idea and thought came to life through trying something different.

Where my game exists: Veg out Crew

I've been busy, creating, designing, watching, learning, spending loads of time and effort into creating a game on my own. It's definitely cool when you see things come together, when a level starts from nothing and becomes something that you as a player can control a character to move through that level, which you placed objects into, created and designed the images, assets and inserted them into your level. Which over time builds on the previous iteration and eventually becomes something you admire and find so intriguingly fun, enjoyful and silly at the same time!

This is how Veg Out Crew came together, through experimentation and a whole heap of curiousity, for building a game. Since a child I've always been curious about making games, wondering how they are created, put together and eventually being crafted to a published title. I played around with level design in Duke Nukem very early days but no idea what I was doing, then Red Faction came out years after which I started to put the pieces together. I also played lots of Starcraft inbetween this and made some levels to play over LAN however, it wasn't until years later I made the jump to GameMaker Studio, which I started playing around in. From there I followed tutorials, created some games but never finished anything. Now I'm on a mission to finally finish something and get it out in the wild.

That's where Veg Out Crew comes in, a platformer game, a bit of fun, go pick your character and take on the food world!
